According to the World Health Organisation neurological disorders are diseases of the central nervous system. In other words, the brain, spinal cord, cranial nerves, peripheral nerves, nerve roots, autonomic nervous system, neuromuscular junction and muscles.
The Association of Movers and Shakers supports people with five neurological diseases.

Donations needed to provide care for those alone during the festive season
Christmas and New Year can be a very lonely time, for those who live alone and have no family members nearby. This can be much worse when you have a neurological illness and are reliant on carers to tend to your needs.
With your help, The Association can be there to offer extra support and care over the Christmas and New Year period.
For a donation of 30 Euros, we can provide an extra hour of care or go shopping, or do a deep clean for one of our members.
